The PSE Museum is a gift of the Manila Stock Exchange Foundation to the Philippine Stock Exchange. This grant manifests the foundation’s support for the unification of the country’s two bourses into the merged Philippine Stock Exchange and the housing of the PSE brokers under one trading floor. The PSE Museum preserves the extensive archives of the Manila Stock Exchange, which was founded in 1927, and the Makati Stock Exchange which was founded in a 1963. It consolidates the independently maintained libraries and archives of the Manila and Makati Stock Exchanges. It contains original memorabilia such as flags, seals, photographs, accounting journals, contracts, trading board, stock brokers’ booth, and other trading paraphernalia. These records chronicle the development of the Philippine stock market.
