This book was written primarily for relatively sophisticated individual investors and for the advisors who work with them. As Chapter 1 explains, It is believed that few investors can make full and economically efficient use of important ETF features without the support and infrastructure an advisor can provide. At issue are the complexity of the tax, risk management, record maintenance, investment policy, fund evaluation, and portfolio integration decisions that need to be made in implementing an ETF-oriented investment program.
