2014 Cross-border listings handbook

in 2010, Baker & McKenzie published its first Cross-Border Listings Handbook to address the need for reliable information regarding the process for listing in cross-border transactions. Subsequent annual editions expanded and update the information in the original handbook, including the addition of summaries of stock exchanges in Austria, Brazil, India, Luxembourg, South Africa, Spain, Sweden and Turkey, as well as new sections comparing key requirements among certain exchanges and offering practical tips a company can follow to increase its chances for a successful cross-border listing. This 2014 edition further expands and updates the information in this handbook, and includes new summaries for stock exchanges in Peru and Russia.

This book describes the principal attributes of various prominent securities exchanges around the world, primarily from the view of a foreign company that is considering a cross-border listing.
