It gives a glimpse of what kind of a man LKY was – a competent, strong, decisive, disciplined and principled statesman who single-mindedly, even stubbornly, built and governed Singapore for 30 years. A “Lion among Leaders” he was called, Lee Kuan Yew was truly an inspiration to Asia and beyond.
